Recruiting and Account Manager - Entry Level College Graduate

We are a boutique staffing agency in downtown Chicago recruiting for a recent college graduate who wants to develop a career in recruiting, staffing, and human resources as a Recruiting and Account Manager.


Our managing partner will guide you on how to build a career in staffing and recruiting. You will learn how to build a customer account base, uncover staffing needs, manage recruiting and placement, and develop long-term business relationships. You'll work directly with the managing director and other staff to accomplish your goals. You'll manage various facets of the business with a personable and professional demeanor. Your day will offer a variety of important roles and responsibilities, and reward you for providing superior customer and client service.

Recruiting and Account Management:

  • Set weekly goals for business development and recruiting
  • Identify target clients who need administrative stafffing services
  • Contact potential clients by phone and email to develop a client base
  • Dedicate time each day to call potential clients and obtain job orders
  • Develop recruiting strategies and plans to meet business strategies and goals
  • Conduct searches and manage full life cycle recruiting processes to fulfill requisitions
  • Recruit across multiple disciplines and levels, and support remote offices
  • Perform coaching and conduct performance reviews
  • Manage your activities in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Generate reports to manage your performance and effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Ability to source, cold call, build relationships and network to generate successful placements and retention
  • Interest in recruiting staff and developing relationships with clients and candidates
  • A good understanding of the concepts of consulting and consulting operations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results driven, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to goals
  • Ability to plan, schedule and work in a fast paced environment
  • Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and internet research
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
