Job Description:

Allume is searching for a Director, Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) to develop and execute email and text messaging based marketing strategies that will drive improved customer engagement, purchase, and repeat. This role spans strategy and planning; creative development and production; testing, analytics, and reporting; as well as execution. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into owning all of performance marketing.



  • Develop email and text messaging marketing strategies - based on appropriate customer and lifecycle segmentations - to support our key business priorities; namely to drive CLV via  customer acquisition, purchase conversion, repeat rate.

  • Partner with creative team to develop high-performing, brand-enhancing email campaigns: write creative briefs; provide creative feedback based on prior performance.

  • Manage campaign execution including customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution. Build audiences & refine HTML to launch email campaigns using Mailchimp and text messaging campaigns.

  • Analyze campaign performance, including engagement and sales metrics, and leverage learnings to inform campaign planning and optimization.

  • Build email and text messaging testing roadmap and drive test execution to enable continual optimization of campaigns.

  • Opportunity to grow into leading all of quantitative marketing, including CRM and acquisition.


Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years experience including relevant email marketing, CRM, or other digital marketing strategy/execution experience.

  • Proven ability to develop strategy AND execute day-to-day tactics.

  • Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment with ambitious schedules and plans. Self-starter with an ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights about the customer.

  • Top-notch project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks involving cross-functional partners. Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task while executing flawlessly.
