The Opportunity:

As an Associate Scientist, Flow Cytometry (Contract), you will play a significant role in our Research and Development team. This mid-level opportunity requires a deep-seated knowledge of flow cytometry and its application to the field of immuno-oncology. An inherent interest in developing novel therapies and a deep-seated passion for improving patients' lives is something we value.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation using multi-parameter flow cytometry.
  • Produce and analyze data related to the interaction of our therapeutic with targeted cells.
  • Maintain and handle flow cytometers setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Work in cross-functional teams and extract key insights from cell analysis to drive research forward.
  • Conduct standard and ad hoc experiments and communicate results to broader scientific groups.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field with 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience conducting flow cytometry experiments (10+ colors).
  • Track record in designing, executing, and interpreting studies in the field of immunology.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in software programs for flow cytometry (FlowJo, FCS Express, etc.).
  • A motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with cell sorting techniques.
  • Prior experience in a biotech/pharma industry setting.
  • Experience with translational research and developing therapeutic strategies.
  • Understanding of regulatory guidelines and reporting structures.
  • Familiarity with tumor immunology, CAR-T cells or TCR biology.
