Lead Infant Classroom Teacher
Daycare | Nicholasville, KY | Part Time | From $12.50 to $13.50 per hour
All God's Children is looking for a Lead Teacher (Part-Time) for our Daycare's Infant Classroom (newborn- 12mo.) ---Approximately 30-35 hrs. per week.
We are looking for candidates that are passionate about the growth and development of children! Our non-profit ministry is focused on providing the best care for children who have experienced trauma. This teacher will be co-facilitating daily lesson planning with another experienced early childhood educator in the classroom.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Must work well with children and have the energy and flexibility to meet the changing needs of children
- Infant and child CPR/First Aid (will be provided by AGC of no cost to employee)
- Pass a criminal records check
- Be able to obtain a copy of a negative TB Skin Test/Screening
- Multitasking and Organization required
- Dependability required
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Childcare experience
Preferences:
- Prefer experience in a daycare setting, but not required;
- Prefer CDA credential or desire to obtain one (some candidates eligible for financial assistance from the agency);
- Prefer Associate’s Degree in early childhood education/child development or possess a bachelor’s degree
