Simulation and Graphics Engineer

Your Role

We are looking for an engineer who has a strong coding ability, and experience developing simulation environments in Unreal. Specifically, these simulation environments will interact with several external subsystems to do flight simulation and computer vision detection analysis, so cross team collaboration will be a central part of this development effort. Additionally, 2d photo-realistic rendering will help.

Must Have Experience

  • Unreal w/ C++ and blueprints

  • Degree in Computer Science or related degree

  • Simulation product development

  • Fast packaging and optimization of scenarios

  • Shaders, materials, lighting, rendering pipelines, procedural modeling and generation, 2D image processing, VFX, and other graphics techniques

  • Linux (Ubuntu) Environment familiarity

  • C/C++ coding and compilation skills - (cmake, makefiles)

  • Github, Docker,

  • Projective Geometry - 3d to 2d conversion

  • OpenCV

  • Procedural Photorealistic 2d image generation - given an object, create multiple instances of that object in different settings


Good to have

  • 1 - 3 years Industry experience

  • Interest in drones

  • Experience shipping a large product as a team (e.g. AAA game releases)

  • Experience in robotics, specifically dynamics/control.

  • Data Analysis
