Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to help us develop highly specialized, top secret drones.  Our mission goes well beyond that of any other drone manufacturer.  We expect you to be a master of manufacturing and design.  We’re looking for someone that can “show us” how products can be both beautiful and robust.  You must be quick to improvise and iterate, plus have a passion for building innovative technologies.


  • Make working prototypes using our lab/shop.  We have every tool, gadget, system at our lab.
  • Test prototypes and products
  • Contribute to the look and feel of the design
  • Design for high volume, high quality, and robustness, including mechanisms and injection molded parts.
  • Develop design specs and manufacturing drawings.
  • Work with our team of A+ Engineers on other systems that interact with your projects.
  • Showcase your work to the team

  • 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience – at least 3 product life cycles
  • Masters Degree in ME or similar, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with mechatronic or intelligent systems and/or physical computing
  • Experience with complex CAD assemblies  
  • Solidworks Jedi Master
  • Familiar with motors, gears, electromechanical systems, wireless, sensors and connectors= strategies.
  • Strong prototyping background
  • Experience with fabrication techniques:  machining, 3D printing, molding, materials
  • Proven ability to manage projects, work under pressure, and consistently make deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges
