We are seeking a System Engineer that will analyze functional business requirements and design specifications for IT activities and resolve problems within existing analytics code. 

What we are expecting from you: (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

  • Background in data science and Computer Network Defense (CND)
  • Vulnerability and security metrics
  • NiFi experience
  • At least eight years experience with coding experience with Pig, Java, or Python, and experience in analytic or application design
  • General understanding of Windows and Unix security/patching/configuration strategy, AWS services and storage mechanisms
  • BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (An additional 4 years of IT experience can substitute for a BS Degree).
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice to have:

  • CISSP certification (preferably with ISSEP)
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working independently with minimal direction
  • Experience creating high level designs as well as implementing lower level details
  • Experience in both system engineering and development
