Applied Insight is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our electronic records management system and software tools at United States Marshals Service in Arlington, Virginia. The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization's electronic records management system. This includes tasks such as installing, configuring and maintaining the electronic records management system and associated tool, servers, and network devices; troubleshooting technical problems; and providing support to users. The Systems Administrator must also have a strong understanding of security principles and practices and be able to implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Configure and maintain enterprise content management systems (ECM) such as OpenText ECM and Laserfiche.
  • Configure and maintain software tools such as Jira, and GitLab.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide support to users.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
  • Work with vendors to install and configure hardware and software.
  • Document system configurations and procedures.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years related experience; Master’s degree and 3+ years related experience. Additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must have Active DOD Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain DOJ Public Trust prior to starting.
  • Experience with Jira, GitHub and other software tools.
  • Experience in configuration management and access configuration.
  • Knowledge of electronic records management systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have a fully adjudicated a secret clearance
