Real Estate Analyst

About Us:

AGM Management LLC is a 70-person property management company that operates apartment buildings throughout the United States. The Real Estate Analyst will work out of our New York City office. 

Job Description: 

The Financial Analyst will: 

  • Evaluate opportunities to buy apartment buildings throughout the United States
  • Analyze the financial statements of public companies in an effort to find undervalued businesses
  • Assess the profit and loss statements of an existing portfolio of apartment buildings to uncover expense reduction possibilities
  • Assist in asset managing a portfolio of multi-family buildings 
  • Work within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and an excellent command of the English language. 
  • Have the ability to handle a wide variety of assignments including email correspondence, project management and telephone communications
  • Enjoy working independently, sometimes for several days at a time

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance or business 
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in financial analysis, data analysis, accounting, finance or commercial real estate
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Excel
