Business Development Representative

Job Description

AddShoppers is on the hunt for an energetic and motivated software sales professional to join our sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR). In this role you will strategically research prospective customers and be a key factor in developing a revenue pipeline for AddShoppers. Our Business Development Representatives play a crucial role in our sales process by creating outreach strategies and identifying sales opportunities. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for prospects. You will conduct introductory scoping conversations with potential customers, and use your ROI-driven mindset to explain how AddShoppers can optimize clients’ online presence via personalization, and thoughtfully articulate the AddShoppers value proposition. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Learn AddShoppers’ ROI, value proposition, and articulate our case studies to entice prospects 

  • Utilize sales best practices to identify and qualify prospects through high volume prospecting and creative outbound methods

  • Develop strategic business consulting via cold outreach

  • Conduct high volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, video, and social media

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections

  • Update leads and prospect interaction in the CRM to ensure efficient lead management

  • Collaborate with Account Executive team to develop and implement strategic prospecting strategies, as well as refine territory strategy and strengthen a convertible pipeline

  • Schedule demos for Sales Representatives to further assess a prospect's business alignment for partnership with AddShoppers

  • Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned

  • Execute successful follow up on marketing tasks such as webinars, campaigns, and qualified contacts on a weekly basis (?)

  • Assist companies with realizing the potential of digital personalization

  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure overall team goals are met

  • Build the foundation for a successful sales career by real time training on the fundamentals to be a strong salesperson, leader, and executive

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of sales or relevant professional experience

  • Self-starter, motivated, energetic, strategic, team player

  • Ability to work in a high energy sales environment, remotely

  • Excellent listening, presentation, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Willingness to try new things and fail fast, but iterate and learn

This position has a base salary and commission. Employees who excel with strong work ethic and performance will have the opportunity for career development and advancement within sales. This role is 100% remote, though preference is given to candidates local to the Boston, MA area for post-pandemic, in person collaboration when safe to do so.
