The Edmunds.com is a world class analytics organization with an innovative suite of dealer products that connect automotive dealers with the almost 18 million vehicle shoppers that visit Edmunds.com each month. We are expanding our Analytics team and have created 5 new positions.
Business intelligence is embedded into our day to day operations and this role will have the opportunity to work with web and business data to help drive business decisions. We are a progressive front runner in using the most up to date BI tools with an emphasis on building a powerful reporting infrastructure.
Our Analysts play a crucial role in supporting our Sales team in retaining our existing Dealer and OEM (automotive manufacturers) customers by continually improve the reporting quality and working with cross-functional teams to generate key insights, reports and analytics.
What You'll Do:
Develop, evaluate and refine analytic models using data to address business needs
Prepare visualizations of data in order to explain, persuade and tell a story
Provide recommendations to key stakeholders and support the business need
Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. utilizing our data warehouse and other data source systems and summarize your findings
Interact with multiple teams in different departments and define requirements for reporting
What You Need:
Strong analytical skills with a minimum of 2 years experience in business analytics is REQUIRED
ADVANCED technical skills in SQL & Excel is REQUIRED
Experience working with business data / web analytics is a huge plus
Polished presentation and communication skills (PowerPoint)
Experience with Tableau, R and/or Python is a big plus
Exposure to BI tools such as Microstrategy and Platfora is a plus
BS/BA Degree is required
