A leading medical institution is seeking a Technical Project Management Professional - Clinical Systems. The successful candidate will focus on project management for the transition of two hospitals. The ideal candidate must have experience with hospital transitions from an Infrastructure perspective. The company offers a great work environment!

Technical Project Management Professional - Clinical Systems Pay and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $85/hr
  • Worksite: (San Francisco, CA 94143 - Hybrid- quarterly meetings)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
  • 40 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment

Technical Project Management Professional - Clinical Systems Responsibilities:

  • Apply advanced technical project management concepts with a full understanding of project management practices and IT policies and procedures to manage complex projects. Provide analysis for highly complex, project-related issues.

  • Implement the project management processes associated with our IT products and services involving diverse departmental or cross-functional teams.

  • Has overall project management responsibility. Assemble and direct large project teams, develop detailed project plans and schedules and monito budget and resources. Directs project activities with the goal of completing the project on schedule and within budget constraints. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Oversees the project from initiation through delivery including system integration, interaction with vendors and managing risk.

  • Gather, analyze and synthesizes complex data and information in reports, presentations and other formats to communicate project details, status, results and lessons learned


Technical Project Management Professional - Clinical Systems Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training – 8+ years
  • Professional certification preferred. – BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.

  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred.

  • Professional Scrum Facilitation Skills (PSFS) preferred.

  • Experience leading a team of technology professionals.

  • Requires advanced knowledge of project management principles, theories, and concepts.

  • Working knowledge of technology-related initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives.

  • Demonstrated capacity to anticipate obstacles and plan for contingencies.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks.

  • Demonstrated effective writing skills.

  • Demonstrated competency in adhering to project management methods and techniques.

  • Broad knowledge of technology-related initiatives and an understanding of impact to the organization of such initiatives.

  • Proven leadership ability. Effective problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to put forth persuasive arguments.

  • Effective skill at tracking effort and project progress. Demonstrated highly advanced organization and project management skills. Demonstrated strong conceptual and planning skills to analyze projects of broad and diverse scope.

  • Understands the cost impact of projects, project tracking tools and metrics.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.

  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of computing and communications including hardware infrastructure, networking, cloud, security, storage, desktop engineering, unified communications, collaboration tools, software, operations and disaster recovery.

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate critical information across disciplines. Understands how projects relate to other business strategies and initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience in hospital transitions (from an IT perspective), infrastructure system migrations, etc.
